• इसमें डाटा एंट्री और गणनाओ से सम्बंधित कार्य करते है |

वर्कबुक (Workbook)

एम एस एक्सेल की फाइल वर्कबुक कहलाती है| वर्कबुक वर्कशीट्स का समूह होती है अर्थात एक वर्कबुक में कई वर्कशीट शामिल की जा सकती है| एक वर्कबुक में डिफ़ॉल्ट रूप तीन वर्कशीट मिलती है|
MS Excel's file is called Workbook. A workbook is a group of worksheets. It means a workbook can contain many worksheets. Three worksheets are found by default in a workbook.

वर्कशीट (WorkSheet)

वर्कशीट एक प्रकार की टेबल होती है जो रो और कॉलम से बनी होती है| वर्कशीट को ही स्प्रेडशीट कहते है|

A worksheet is a type of table made up of rows and columns. The worksheet is also known as spreadsheet.

कॉलम (Columns)

शीट में ऊपर से निचे की ओर चलने वाली सेल्स के समूह को कॉलम कहते है, इन्हे अल्फाबेट से रिप्रेजेंट किया जाता है| एम एस एक्सेल 2003 में ये A से शुरू होकर IV तक चलते है और इनकी कुल संख्या 256 होती है| एम एस एक्सेल 2007 में ये A से शुरू होकर XFD तक चलते है और इनकी कुल संख्या 16384 होती है|
The group of cells running downwards from the top of the sheet is called a column, they are represented by alphabet. In MS Excel 2003, they start from A to IV and their total number is 256.
In MS Excel 2007, they start from A and run till XFD and their total number is 16384.

रौ (Rows)

शीट में बायीं से दायी ओर चलने वाली सेल्स के समूह को रौ कहते है, इन्हे नंबर से रिप्रेजेंट किया  जाता है| एम एस एक्सेल 2003 में इनकी कुल संख्या 65536 और एक्सेल 2007 में इनकी संख्या 1048576 होती है|
The group of cells moving from left to right in the sheet is called raw, they are represented by numbers. Their total number is 65536 in MS Excel 2003 and 1048576 in Excel 2007.

शैल (Cells)

जब रो और कॉलम एक दुसरे को काटते है तो छोटे छोटे बॉक्स बनते है जिन्हे सेल कहा जाता है| प्रत्येक सेल की अपनी पहचान होती है जिसे सेल रिफरेन्स या सेल एड्रेस कहते है|
When the row and column cut each other. Small boxes creates, which are called cells. Each cell has its own identity which is called cell reference or cell address.

सेल रिफरेन्स के प्रकार (Types of cell reference)

रिलेटिव सेल रिफरेन्स (Relative Cell Reference)

इसमें सेल रिफरेन्स के लिए  पहले कॉलम की हैडिंग और फिर रो की हैडिंग जाती है -
In this, the heading of the column is followed by the heading of the row for cell reference.
उदहारण (Example) - A1 
( इसमें A कॉलम हैडिंग है और 1 रो हैडिंग है )

एब्सोल्यूट सेल रिफरेन्स (Absolute cell reference)

इसमें कॉलम और रो की हैडिंग लिखने से पहले डॉलर($) चिन्ह लगाना अनिवार्य है|
Put a dollar ($) sign before writing the column and row headings.
उदहारण (Example)- $A$1

मिक्स्ड/हाइब्रिड सेल रिफरेन्स (Mixed/Hybrid Cell Reference)

इसमें एक बार डॉलर($) चिन्ह आता है चाहें तो कॉलम हैडिंग नाम से पहले अथवा रो हैडिंग नाम से पहले|
Once the dollar ($) symbol appears in it, if you want it before the column heading or before the row heading name.
उदहारण (Example)-  $A1  अथवा   A$1
